I decided to take a walk across the Sydney Harbour Bridge because, well, that’s what people kept recommending to me and frankly I was tired of saying, “Oh really? That sounds great, I’ll try it sometime.” So I went walkabout. But only to the middle of it. I was too distracted by this view to finish walking the rest of the way. It was incredible. Here I was in Sydney Harbour, standing with a stupid grin stretched across my face, overjoyed just to be on a bridge facing the Opera House, while everyone I knew was 7,000 miles away fast asleep in bed. Truly, it was one of the the most anticlimactic moments of my life. Ever.
