Tea at Cafe C

I spent the day walking around Newtown and catching up with my girl friend Trish.   We met up at the train station then enjoyed lunch at Guzman y Gomez.  After running a few errands and perusing the shops for random stationery items, we parked ourselves at a lovely little corner spot on King Street called Cafe C.  There’s just something so relaxing about afternoon tea, people watching, and chatting about life with a close friend.  It’s times like these that help me look past all the little stresses that living abroad can bring, and allow me to truly begin accepting my life here for what it is: new.
