It’s funny what people prioritize in different parts of the world. The first Tuesday in November is a big day for both Aussies and Americans alike. The build-up is incredible; the hype, extreme; the advertisements, outrageous. But here, everyone is casting their bets, gathering together at pubs, and getting dolled up in big hats and fancy attire all for a horse race. In America, people are gathering at the polls to cast their vote in a critical election as two candidates race for that presidential seat in the Oval Office. If only a winner in the latter race could be determined by horse and jockey.
